Most Filipinos are Roman Catholic and in fact it still remains the only country in the world that denies divorce to its people. They are extrimely religious and in every home they dedicate a separate area to put all their religious icons. And it is not just in their homes but also at workplaces, on buses, jeepneys, tricycles, schools, hotels, hospitals and everywhere.
Filipino cuisine is not famous. However, it is getting some kind of acknowledgement abroad, especially in the United States. Filipino dishes get inspiration from Spanish, Chinese and Malay cuisines.
The Philippines is the second-largest archipelago in the world with approximately 7,600 (until recently only 7,107) islands. There is an abundance of white sandy beaches and natural resources.
You can find white sandy beaches in every island you go and it is not easy to find elsewhere turquoise crystal clear water like in the Philippines.
